Her Vision

One of my favorite words is "Ubuntu" Which means, I am what I am because of who we all are." Our humanity is interconnected and tied to the humanity of others. It is the idea that a person is a person through other people and emphasizes community, compassion, as well as shared responsibility, and recognizing that our own well-being is linked to the well-being of our community. We are stronger when we are together, then we are apart. We are what makes this world what it is today. We are what makes this world better.
